My name is Silvia Kim

I study Cognitive Science and Design Innovation at UC Berkeley.

I am a Korean who was born in Argentina and lived in Mexico. Throughout my childhood, I've interacted with many people from different cultures and identities. My multicultural background allows me to navigate through different cultures and connect with people in a deeper level which helps me in my design methodology.

I am passionate about creating accessible and inclusive products that transform communities, specifically the immigrant and undocumented communities. I aim to make meaningful experiences that help improve the lives of people. I am also passionate about maker spaces! I love designing tangible products that come to life when intersecting design and technology.
